Six Months With Social Media Marketing Platform ViralTag

We’ve been using ViralTag, the Social Media Marketing platform for just over six months now and have been watching our traffic progress rapidly during this time. What was once a record breaking 100 page view day has become a constant 300-500 page view day with our Facebook and Pinterest traffic to be highly thankful for. ViralTag has and is still making social media an incredibly powerful and life-freeing approach to marketing our recipes to thousands of people every day.

For those of you who have no idea what ViralTag or other Social Media Marketing platforms are, they provide a service for you to set up some text and images to specific website addresses which will post on your behalf on a scheduled routinely basis. This cuts out the hassle of being on your phone and computer 24/7 for the rest of your website’s life. Just go on a holiday and let ViralTag do the work for you! It supports Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram!

There has been times where we’ve been away overseas on holidays or just need a break from the hectic lifestyle of being a food blogger that both Katie and I thought for sure we would see a drop in traffic. During our most recent two week holiday to Bali, it turns out that our analytics was holding strong during a two week period of zero new blog posts. A more careful glance at our analytics revealed that nothing had changed in our top three sources for traffic to our website, Google/Organic, Pinterest & Facebook. It came as quite a relief to us as we love our blog and never want to see it decline rapidly while we have our short breaks from updating it with new content. We owe a lot of our downtime to Social Media Marketing!

Another thing we have noticed a lot in the last few months is that our Google/Organic traffic has skyrocketed. At first I thought, it must be just because we have more recipes out in the wild fishing for newcomers. It was only more recently that we both realised it had come at the help of ViralTag. You see, having a consistent blog is incredible for getting the Google Ranks going in your favour though being marketed through the Social Media Marketing platforms, Pinterest especially has shot up our ranking with Google. Both ViralTag and being consistent with our blog posts have complimented each other beautifully and have allowed us to have that much needed time away from the mental workload of our blog without the decline in traffic.

ViralTag has definitely been our website’s best friend and seeing it priced for bloggers at $9.99 per month with a 14 day trial is a treasure box just waiting to be opened. It has been six months since the last review of ViralTag and we both can only sing praises for it. It still feels great to be “stuck” in traffic ;).

Please share with us the ways which you have found that increase a steady amount of traffic to your website/blog in the comments below!

Thanks for this post; I will check out Viral Tag. I followed the link you gave to the special pricing for bloggers, and it says that it’s $12 per month, not $9.99 But it’s still half the price of the cheapest plan on their website, so perhaps it’s still worth it.
