Start your day right with this Turmeric Lemon Power Smoothie!
This smoothie is so easy to make, with only 5 ingredients that you already most likely have at home! Lemon and turmeric are an astounding combination, and with the banana to bind it all together and the papaya – we’re onto a winner baby!
If you like it spicy, add some cayenne pepper to give it a kick! Fresh orange juice would also work really well! I haven’t added any black pepper in this recipe, but it does increase the bioavailability of the turmeric – so, if you’re looking to get the most out of it, then sprinkle a bit in!

Start your day off in an incredible way with this Turmeric Lemon Power Smoothie! Packed with goodness, this will get your day off to a great start!
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup red papaya
- 1/2 tsp lemon rind
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup filtered water
- 1/2 cup ice
Blend all ingredients together in a nutri bullet or blender until well incorporated. Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon if desired. Enjoy!
