Creamy Avocado Ginger Dressing

This Creamy Avocado Ginger Dressing is great on salads.. but it also pairs perfectly with zucchini noodles, pasta or as a dipping sauce! It’s got the right amount of flavour and tang. Seriously delicious.

I can’t believe this is actually our first dressing recipe on here after almost 3 years of blogging. We do have dressing recipes included in our Vegan Caesar Salad recipe and our Altantis salad, but no stand alone dressing recipes like this one!

The fresh ginger in this dressing gives it a nice kick – feel free to reduce the amount for less of a kick! I love the addition of all the herbs and spices – really gives the dressing a great flavour.

Creamy Avocado Ginger Dressing

You can mix up this dressing as much as you like! If you don’t have parsley, perhaps use another herb, like oregano! Also use different spices to see what works for you and what you like. I’ve had this dressing tossed in some zucchini noodles with some chopped up cashews on top, and it’s so yum!

Creamy Avocado Ginger Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1 medium avocado
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • small handful of parsley
  • 1/4 tsp sage powder
  • 1/8 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 Tbsp savoury yeast
  • 2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1/2 cup vegan stock or water
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth! Add a touch more water if you think the consistency is too thick. Pour over a salad, or use as a dip!
