This year is just flying by!! Where does time go? Can’t believe it’s almost Easter already!
I wanted to make something a bit out of the ordinary – not chocolate eggs! I tried to make some carob chocolate but it didn’t really turn out. Then I ended up making this Easter Chocnut Smoothie Bowl! It’s delicious, it’s Eastery, it’s got chocolate and Peanut Butter. What more could you want?
We bought some Sweet William chocolate bunnies and some Moser Roth mini Dark Chocolate Easter Eggs to decorate our smoothie bowl with, but by all means, you can always make your own chocolate eggs. There’s a delicious looking recipe for Raw Superfood Chocolate on Nutriplanet.org! We also topped ours with fresh raspberries, strawberries and some flaked coconut.
This Smoothie Bowl would be perfect for a lazy Easter Sunday morning! (after the easter egg hunt!)

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter with your family and loved ones. If you love smoothie bowls, chocolate and peanut butter, please share this recipe with your family and friends!
- 4 - 5 medium frozen bananas
- 1/4 coconut cream
- 3 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- 2 medjool dates chopped
-
Blend the bananas and coconut cream in a food processor until smooth (you may need to scrape down the sides of the processor a few times). Then add the peanut butter, cacao powder and medjool dates and blend again until smooth. Pour into a bowl, top with desired toppings and enjoy!
