This deliciously creamy Golden Turmeric Milk will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy. Not only that, but it's jam packed full of nutrients to boost your immune system.
Servings: 2 cups
Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp fresh turmeric finely grated
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger finely grated
  • 2 pods of star anise
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 grinds of black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups rice milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp coconut sugar
Instructions
  1. Add water to medium saucepan on medium heat
  2. Add the fresh turmeric and ginger
  3. Add the rice milk
  4. Add the star anise, cardamom, nutmeg, ground turmeric, black pepper and stir
  5. Add coconut milk
  6. Add coconut oil
  7. Finally, add coconut sugar
  8. Bring to the boil
  9. Pour into 2 mugs - no need for straining

Add grated nutmeg on top if desired
