Treat the senses for any meal of the day! Learn how to craft this delicious Turmeric Tofu Sesame Salad! It's so easy, healthy and satisfying! Yummy!

Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
For the Salad:
  • 2 cups (or about half) of iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 3 carrots peeled and grated
  • 1 medium cucumber sliced
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1/4 cup olives sliced in half
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil (from sun-dried tomatoes)
For the Tofu:
  • 150g tofu sliced
  • Dash of olive oil
  • Sprinkle of white pepper
  • Dash of sesame oil
  • Pinch of chilli flakes
  • Dash of tamari
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
Instructions
  1. Cook the tofu first. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the tofu and all the other ingredients. Cook for around 5 minutes until nice and golden brown

  2. Put all the salad ingredients in a bowl and add the cooked tofu. Mix well and serve it up!
