White Christmas with Pretzels and Turkish Delight

I just love all the yummy food around the festive season! And I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I have been creating some delicious treats for the Christmas table, including this White Christmas with Pretzels and Turkish Delight.

White Christmas with Pretzels and Turkish Delight

I made this one with Sweet William white Chocolate buttons. If you live in Australia, they have an amazing range of vegan chocolates to bake and eat with!

I also used Dandies marshmallows, but the freedom mallows would work too, and strawberry flavoured marshmallows would work really well in this!

If you don’t like turkish delight, just leave it out. You can always sub something else in too, such as coconut, rice bubbles, some extra toasted nuts, etc.

We have another white Christmas recipe on our blog from years ago that I made with cacao butter (maybe white chocolate wasn’t as readily available back then!?), but this one is superior in my opinion!

The preztels really work well in this recipe. I can’t wait to use them again in some other festive dish!

Please share this recipe with your friends and family – especially those that have a sweet tooth!

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup whole blanched almond toasted
  • 10 – 12 dandies marshmallows cut in half
  • 1/3 cup glace cherries
  • 1/2 cup pretzels broken up
  • 6-7 pieces rose turkish delight cut in half or quarters
  • 1 300g packet of Sweet William white chocolate buttons
Instructions
  1. Toast the whole blanched almonds first. I did mine in the overn at 180° for about 10 minutes. You could also do this on a stovetop. Let them cool completely. Cut up the marshmallows and put them in a large bowl with the rest of the ingredients except for the chocolate. Melt the white chocolate. I use a heat proof bowl on top of a saucepan of boiling water to do this. Once the chocolate has melted, pour it over the other ingredients and mix everything through well. Pour this mixture into a container lined with baking paper. Top with more pretzels if desired and put in the fridge to set for an hour.

Hi KC, I think I got this one from Aldi. Most supermarkets should have it, just check the ingredients to make sure its vegan!
